BOAC UPDATE / PROJECT ROACH + MORE
It took me a long time to figure out the sound I was looking for. Honestly, I had no clue what that sound was, or even if this is it. But I have an album, it took me 5 years to finish and I hope you like it. Im not the type of artist that makes music to make money, although that would be great in a perfect world. As Conceit once said, "Im a selfish Emcee, I make music for me"... Hahaha... I used to do that, still do to a certain extent. Really, I want to make good music that speaks to you. Something you can feel and relate to and still enjoy years from now. I doubt I'll ever be very successful or make a giant cultural impact. But what I can do, is make music from my heart, and share it with the world. I have had the dope opportunity to be on the road, playing shows a lot over the last year- Thanks to Sunspot Jonz & Z-Man, who both went out of their way to help me get back out there and connect with fans and promoters. It has been so fresh to get motivated and feel the inspiration from being on stage and doing what I love. I go over the coulda / shoulda / woulda here and there, thinking about "what if I had been consistent with releasing music?", etc. - The reality is, I've been working harder over the last 5 years than I ever did before. I stepped my beat game up- S/O to my homie DNAEBEATS who was extra critical and got me motivated to get to that next level. Working with Conceit and Z-Man made me step my raps up to where they are now. S/O to Sunspot for working with my beats when nobody gave a fuck. Btw, Sunspot and I have a group (no name yet), we have recorded 20 + songs, so expect a couple albums soon. I have been working on an album with Z-Man "Six Pack of Dynamite" produced entirely by me. It's insane. Features include Opio (Hiero) and Lil Wayne. Yup. It will be done soon. In the near future, I will have beats on projects by The Grouch, Luckyiam , Equipto, (Sadat X & AG F/ Ill Bill, Immortal Technique, Roxanne Shante, Grand Puba, Roc Marci + more)... Also, I will out on the road now, all the time, rocking mics in your town. Doing what I love. I will have some music for free, some for sale. If you can, help support, it means a lot. Peace!
Coming soon: "Project Roach" (A FREE ALBUM) F/ Luckyiam, Sunspot Jonz, Equipto, Top.R., Z-Man & DJ Quest
